Yes. The VISEON agent runs as a Windows service inside your network, keeps database passwords on your machine and reads only the folders you allow. No inbound connections or open ports: the agent only makes outbound HTTPS calls on port 443. It does not require a VPN. It contacts the VISEON API to collect jobs and report progress, and uploads results to VISEON S3 so they can be surfaced in the tool. The outbound-only connection model applies to all modes.
