Use about to identify the topic or entity an article concerns, subjectOf for the corresponding link from that subject to the article, and mentions for other referenced entities. These properties express different relationships and should not be used interchangeably. VISEON can maintain reciprocal links to support traversal; explicitly publishing every inverse edge is a graph-governance choice, rather than a universal Schema.org requirement.
